More people than ever seem to be worried about the trends in our culture. This is not just Christians, it’s not just naysayers, it’s not just doom and gloom people. It’s commentators right across the board!
We live in a culture in desperate need of revival. And that begins with a revival in the Church. And that, friend, begins with a revival in you.
So how do we get there? A great place to start is Colossians 3:1–3…
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
The apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, is saying, “You used to live one way, but now your life is hidden with Christ in God. And because that is the case, it is imperative you set your mind on things above.”
When we come to a point of commitment to Christ, we die with Him to the old life and are made whole, new people.
Therefore, keep your orientation on Heaven. When you do, you’ll find revival in your own heart that will spark revival in your church and in the world.
