Grace-full Living

Series: Grace-full Living

Pete Briscoe

How does the biblical teaching of grace fit in today's performance driven society? We tell our children, if you want to do well, work hard. We tell ourselves there is no such thing as a free lunch. Nothing ever comes free, and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. While these sayings are true in many situations, such a mindset about grace can steal joy from the Christian life.

Using the illustration of a three-legged stool, Pete reflects on the three concepts that will help us have a well-rounded and balanced view of grace—bankruptcy, blessings, and behavior. He reminds us how truly amazing God's grace is and how being grateful for that gift can transform us into who God wants us to be.
