Memorial Day Article: Know Your Equipment

On Memorial Day, as we honor soldiers, veterans, and those who have given their lives in service to their country, we should be reminded that as believers, we are in a daily spiritual battle against the enemy of our souls. What can we do to ensure we triumph over the evil around us?

As Stuart writes in a recent article for Decision Magazine, there are things every believer (and soldier) must do to have victory. 

"From my experience in the armed forces of the United Kingdom, I know that a soldier needs be thoroughly aware of three things. He must know who his enemy is, he must know how to operate his equipment and he must know his area of responsibility. A soldier who does not know these three things is highly unlikely to survive, much less triumph. Unfortunately, this state of affairs is all too common among Christians. Instead of winning some mighty victories, we frequently are on the losing end."
